What is Turning Red about?
Set in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Red, Mei Lee is a confident and naïve thirteen-year-old girl torn between being her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. And if the changes in her interests, relationships, and body weren’t enough, every time she gets too excited (which for a teenager is pretty much ALWAYS), she turns into a giant red panda! Red is directed by Oscar winner Domee Shi (from the Pixar short Bao), produced by Lindsey Collins, and will hit theaters in March 2022. Available on the Disney streaming platform!
